How to get a refill
Find your situation below.
Routine refill
Same medicine, same dose, and you are not running out soon.
- 1.Call your pharmacy, or use its app, to request a refill.
- 2.Your pharmacy sends the request to our office.
- 3.We review it and send it back.
- 4.Your pharmacy lets you know when it's ready.
Running low
Less than 3 days left of a heart medicine, for example Eliquis, Entresto, or amiodarone.
- 1.Call your pharmacy to send us the request.
- 2.AND call our office directly, right away, so we can handle it the same day.
Controlled medicine
Some sleep, anxiety, or pain medicines.
- 1.Call our office to set up a visit.
- 2.By law, these medicines require an office visit before they can be refilled.
